The Insight

The launch of an exceptional technology needs an exceptional touch. We needed a high-impact experience to showcase this ground-breaking device to HP channel partners, top customers, local influencers and media.

The Strategy

The lightness and beauty of the product influenced our creative direction, and we chose to play to our business and mobile mavericks, unfolding this immersive experience at Daytona, home to luxury supercars. 

Décor was inspired by the unique blue hues of the Dragonfly, creating a confident and elegant scheme that exuded lightness and style. The concepts of weightlessness and light were entwined through all elements, from cascading champagne poured by aerial bartenders to curated, cloud-themed art and installations, and an ethereal fog suffusing the venue. A custom LED-lit photo booth captured guests floating amongst the clouds, and the backdrop of the stage integrated LED and fog screen technology to create a truly unique effect. 

The McLaren showroom was the stage for the product reveal, with the HP Elite Dragonfly taking pride of place next to some spectacular supercars. We incorporated a strategically placed designer bar, serving liquid nitrogen gin cocktails, while our gourmet

floating menu and dessert installations delighted guests.

Following the triumph of this Johannesburg launch, we hosted an equally successful event in Cape Town at Nasdak. This unique rooftop venue meshed beautifully with our theme, offering panoramic views of Cape Town. As the mist rolled in over Table Mountain, our guests could truly feel they were lighter than air.
